A day just for woman and girls to explore our skills and successes in overcoming our specific gender needs. A day to have fun and enjoy the entertainment. Lets celebrate what we can and do achieve and look at ways to help women to develop in male dominated environments. Miss Scarlett Wild will be singing to entertain us. Please contact us if you wish to attend. Also check out Wigan Councils Believe In Her Campaign.
'Shine A Light' Pumpkin Festival - We will be running Scarecrow making workshops from July onwards each Sunday at our plot and engaging children and young people in growing & carving pumpkins throughout the year. We will launch this festival on Saturday 1st October on Tyldesley market from 1pm, where you can bring along your scarecrow to be judged. We will select many of your scarecrows to display around Tyldesley and use them to hold a Scarecrow Trail quiz throughout October.  This Festival is organised by our children's groups, who have worked hard to plan and take all steps to make this event successful last year and making it better for 2016.  The festival ends with a grand finale on Saturday 29th October from 6pm on Tyldesley Market. Please contact us if you would like to get involved with your children.
